I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Faith Orr, widow of William
Orr, late a private in Buford's Detachment and who died in the service of the
United States is entitled to the sum of six pounds yearly to commence from the
first day of January 1787. Given under my hand as Lieutenant Governor of the
Commonwealth of Virginia/ the Governor being absent/ at Richmond, this 16th day
of April 1787.
