Amaury was born about 1070 in Of, MONTFORT, Eure, France.1 Amaury's father was Simon I Seigneur von Montfort and his mother was Agnes von Evreux. His paternal grandparents were Amauri De Montfort and Bertrade von Gommetz; his maternal grandparents were Richard Count von Evreux and Adele Mrs De Toni [Countess O. He had four brothers and a sister, named Richard, Simon, Guillaume, Aumary and Bertrade. He had a half-sister named Isabel. He died in 1137.1 -
