Karl von Hessen-Kassel 
Karl was born in 1633. Karl's father was Wilhelm V Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Amalie Elisabeth von Hanau-Muenzenberg. His paternal grandparents were Moritz von Hessen-Kassel and Agnes von Solms-Laubach. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Moritz, Wilhelm, Wilhelm Vl, Philipp, Adolf, Agnes, Elisabeth, Emilie, Charlotte, Elisabeth and Luise. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 2 in 1635.
