Karl Christian von Hessen-Homburg 
Karl Christian was born in 1674. Karl Christian's father was Friedrich ll von Hessen-Homburg and his mother was Luise Elisabeth von Courland. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich l von Hessen-Homburg and Margarete Elisabeth von Leiningen-Westerburg. He had five brothers named Friedrich lll, Philipp, Ferdinand, Karl Ferdinand and Kasimir Wilhelm. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 21 in 1695.
