Philippa Countess was born on June 24th, 1311 in Mons, Hainault, Belgium.1 Philippa Countess' father was William III " Der Gute " von Hainault and her mother was Jeanne von Valois. Her paternal grandparents were Jean II Count von Hainault and Philippa von Luxemburg; her maternal grandparents were Charles Count von Valois and Margaret von Anjou. She was an only child. She died at the age of 58 on August 14th, 1369 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 -
