Irmgard Countess was born about 1192 in Of, Zutphen, Gelderland, Netherlands.1 Irmgard Countess' father was Otto I Count von Gelre and her mother was Richardis Prinzessin von Bayern. Her paternal grandparents were Hendrik Count Van Gelre and Agnes Von Arnstein; her maternal grandparents were Otto I (V) von Bayern and Agnes Countess von Looz & Rieneck. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Gerard Count, Hendrik Count, Lodewijk Count, Aleid Countess, Margaretha Countess and Mechteld Countess. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died after 1230.1 -
