Thomas was born on August 21st, 1774 in Worcester Co., MD.1 Thomas' father was Zadock Turner and his mother was Mary Ann Blizzard. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Turner and Mary Carroll; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Blizzard. He had a brother and three sisters, named Hezekiah, Elizabeth, Sabra Mary and Esther. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry, Zadock, Joshua, Philip and Mary.1 -
