Robert Colby was born on March 31st, 1880 in Haven, Reno, KS.1 Robert Colby's father was Robert O. Slayton and his mother was Hannah Harnden. His paternal grandparents were Luther Slayton and Almina Preston. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Almond Leon, Orin Giles, Otto Earl, Arthur Edson, Sarah Edna and Opal Leota. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 2 on March 3rd, 1883 in Haven, Reno, KS.1 -
