Mary F. was born on October 23rd, 1847.1 Mary F.'s father was Elijah Slayton and her mother was Cynthia I. Sanders. Her paternal grandparents were Phineas Slayton and Experience Gleeson. She had a sister named Cynthia Adeline. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Henry, Malinda, Hester Ann, Lucy Caroline, Camilla, Calista C. and Elvira.1 -
