Daniel W. Slayton 
Daniel W. was born on March 18th, 1829 in Trumbull, Ohio.1 Daniel W.'s father was Luther Slayton and his mother was Almina Preston. His paternal grandparents were Phineas Slayton and Experience Gleeson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George W., Phineas, Robert O., Laura, Mary E. and Malinda. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 on April 15th, 1907 in Wyoma, Mason, WV.1 -
