Mette Kirstine was born on August 27th, 1751.1   Mette Kirstine's father was Oluf Olufsen Rye and her mother was Volborg Graae.  Her paternal grandparents were Oluf Olufsen Birkager and Gunhild Oldsdatter Ramsen.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 80 on February 18th, 1832 in Svendborg.1
