Alexander I Romanov

Alexander I was born in 1777. Alexander I's father was Paul I Romanov and his mother was Maria Feodorovna von Wuerttemberg. His paternal grandparents were Peter III Romanov and Catherine II the Great; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich Eugene von Wuerttemberg and Dorothea von Brandenburg-Schwedt. He had a brother and a sister, named Nicholas I and Anna. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 48 in 1825.
