Anna Mariah was born on October 9th, 1836 in Madison, Morgan County, Georgia, USA.1 Anna Mariah's father was Charles Wilhelm Richter and her mother was Anne Eliza Potter. Her paternal grandparents were Carl Wilhelm Richter and Anna Mariah Hollweck; her maternal grandparents were Arthur Potter and Margaret White. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles William, Arthur Potter, Martin Luther, John Clarke, Fannie, Sara Caroline and Anna Thomas. She was the oldest of the eight children.1 -
