Carolina Reuter 
Carolina was born on August 28th, 1820 in Schwelm, Westfalen, Prussia.1 Carolina's father was Heinrich Reuter and her mother was Maria Catherina Kuntz. She had three brothers and five sisters, named August, Carl Heinrich, Heinrich, Henrietta, Dorothea, Albertine, Maria Wilhelmine and Auguste. She was the second oldest of the nine children.1
