Carol I of Romania Hohenzollern

Carol I of Romania was born on April 20th, 1839 in Sigmaringen, Germany.  Carol I of Romania's father was Charles Anthony Hohenzollern and his mother was Josephine von Baden. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Leopold, Anthony, Frederick, Stephanie and Marie.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 75 on October 10th, 1914 in Castle Pelesch, Sinaia, Romania.
