Edward Augustus was born on November 2nd, 1767 in Buckingham House, London, England. Edward Augustus' father was George III Hanover and his mother was (Sophia) Charlotte. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich Louis Hanover Prinz von Wales and Augusta von Sachsen-Gotha; his maternal grandparents were Charles Louis Frederick and Elizabeth von Sachsen-Hildburghausen Albertin. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named George IV von Hanover-Kg, Friedrich, William IV Henry, Ernest Augustus lI Kg.von Hanover-H. v., Augustus Friedrich, Adolphus von Cambridge, Octavius, Alfred, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Augusta Sophia, Elizabeth Hanover von Great, Mary, Sophia and Amelia. He was the fifth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 52 on January 23rd, 1820 in Sidmouth, Devon, England.-
