Anna was born on August 12th, 1590.1   Anna's father was Georg Groetzinger and her mother was Christiana Spengler. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Georg, Sebastian, Absalom, Absalom, Katharina, Margarethe, Magdelene, Anna, Christiana, Christiana, Margarethe and Sebastian.  She was the third oldest of the thirteen children.1
