Henry was born on August 22nd, 1864 in Jackson, MI.1 Henry's father was John George and his mother was Calista C. Slayton. His maternal grandparents were Elijah Slayton and Lucy Strong. He had two sisters named Mary Frances and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the three children.1 -
