Edmund was born about 0965.1 Edmund's father was Edgar " The Peaceful " Koenig von England and his mother was Aelfthryth (Elfrida). His paternal grandparents were Edmund I The Elder and AElfgifu (St); his maternal grandfather was Ordgar von Devon. He had a brother named Ethelred II "The Unready " Koenig. He was the older of the two children. He died in 0970.1 -
