Ioannis Dukas Prince was born in 1064 in Of, Constantinople, Constantinople, Turkey.1 Ioannis Dukas Prince's father was Andronikos Dukas and his mother was Marija Prinzessin von Bulgarien. His paternal grandparents were Ioannis Dukas Prinz vom Byzantinischen Reich and Irini Pegonitissa; his maternal grandfather was Trajan Prinz von Bulgarien. He had a brother and three sisters, named Michael Dukas Prinz vom Byzantinischen, Irini, Anna Dukaina Prinzessin vom Byzantinischen and Theodora Dukaina Pssin vom Byzantinischen. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 29 in 1093.1 -
