Nicholas Fernando was born on May 16th, 1806 in Red Oak, Brown, OH.1 Nicholas Fernando's father was David Devore and his mother was Eleanor Alice Mann. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Devore and Sarah Decker; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Mann and Ann. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peter Mann, Abner, David G, Elhanan W, Newton A, Anna M, Sarah, Mary (Polly) and Emily. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on April 19th, 1884 in Ripley, Brown, OH.1 -
