Frances (Fannie) M. was born in October 1858 in Georgia, USA.1 Frances (Fannie) M.'s father was James Early Brown and her mother was Nancy E. McCurry. Her paternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary (Polly) Strathman; her maternal grandparents were John G. McCurry and Sarah McCurry. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Russell D., John Andrew, William Isom, James Early, Luther M., Thomas Vandiver, Mary H. and Sarah C.. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 44 in 1902.1 -
