Nellie Pearle was born on November 19th, 1870 in East Peoria, Tazwell, Illinois.1 Nellie Pearle's father was Samuel James Allen and her mother was Margaret Jane Patch. Her paternal grandparents were James Allen and Mary Graham. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named James Henry, Edward James, Samuel James, John James, Mary Ann, Margaret Jane, Elizabeth Eliza, Ellen, Isabell, Adaline Bell and Annabell. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died about 1938.1 -
