Amos Kendall Whittemore 
Amos Kendall was born on May 9th, 1782 in Litchfield, Hillsboro County, New Hampshire. Amos Kendall's father is Jacob Whittemore and his mother is Elizabeth Davis. His maternal grandparents are Nathaniel Davis and Martha Heath. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel Kendall, David, Jacob, John, Samuel, Aaron, Moses Baker, Robert Davis, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 88 on March 9th, 1871 in Belvidere, Vermont. He was buried in Eden, Vermont.-
