Galla Justina was born about 0340 in Rome. Galla Justina's father was I Valentinian and her mother is Justina. Her paternal grandparents are Gratianus Valentinian and Iustina; her maternal grandfather is Licinianus. She was an only child. She died in 0394.
‌Galla Justina and Theodosius I were married in a religious ceremony in 0387. They had a daughter named Galla.
