Miles was born in 1290 in Stapleton, Yorkshire, England. Miles' father is Gilbert Stapleton and his mother is Agnes Fitzalan. His paternal grandfather was Miles Stapleton and his paternal grandmother is Diana De Beaulieu; his maternal grandparents are Alan FitzBrian and Agnes FitzRandolph. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 on October 4th, 1364.-
