Florence Edith was born on June 27th, 1895 in Kansas. Florence Edith's father was Burt Southwick and her mother was Louisa Patterson. Her paternal grandparents were Wheeler Branch Southwick and Ellen Bersee. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Burtis, Wheeler Branch (Jr), Arthur Patterson, Ernest Burt, Waldo Emmerson, Emma Jane, Infant Daughter, Dolly Louisa and Dora Ellen. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died in Nampa, Canyon County Idaho.-
