Clarissa was born on July 18th, 1816 in Whitehill, New York. Clarissa's father was Jr. Southwick George and her mother was Jane Bowron. Her paternal grandparents were George Southwick and Lydia Sargent. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Bowron, Jonathan B., George Henry, Anna, Mary, Sarah Jane and Phebe Anna. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on June 7th, 1892 in Lyona Cem, Richmond Twp., PA. She was buried in Lyona Cem, Richmond Twp., PA.-
