Laura A. was born on April 2nd, 1852. Laura A.'s father is John Elkins Sargent and her mother was Malvina Aiken. Her paternal grandparents were Dominicus Sargent and Joanna Miles. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John E. Richmond, Philander Cooper, George A., Hazen A., Lodica I., Annie, Sophia and Laura Ada. She is the fourth youngest of the nine children. She has two half-brothers named Leonard and Jay Dominicus.-
