Joseph Sargent 
Joseph was born on July 9th, 1816 in Lincoln, Addison County, Vermont. Joseph's father was Moses Sargent and his mother was Sally Durfee. His paternal grandparents were David Sargent and Janney Eastman. He had four brothers named Moses, Robert, Daniel Huntington and Chase L.. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Sewell and Ruth S.. He died at the age of 59 on September 18th, 1875 in South Starksboro, Vermont.-
