Jacob Sargent 
Jacob was born on February 4th, 1828 in Potton, Brome, Quebec, Canada. Jacob's father was Samuel Ezra Sargent and his mother was Rubie Ruiter. His paternal grandparents were Ezra Sargent and Hannah Rynes. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Anson, Roger, Hulda and Susan. He is the second youngest of the five children.-
