Birdie Belle was born on February 5th, 1878 in Hillsdale, Hillsdale County Michigan. Birdie Belle's father was Charles W. Sargent and her mother was Lydia Ann Kinsey. Her paternal grandfather was Ephraim Sargent and her paternal grandmother is Sybil. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Franklin S., Lewis H., Erwin M., Lemuel J., Delilia J. and Minnie M.. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 74 on March 25th, 1952 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton County Michigan. She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Eaton County Michigan.-
