Martin Horton was born on March 4th, 1880 in Wanship, Summit, Utah. Martin Horton's father was Lucius Augustus Peck and his mother was Evalyn Aurelia Lovisa Roundy. His maternal grandparents were Jared Curtis Roundy and Louisa Jenne. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Lucius Curtis, Jared Roundy, Sydney Carter, Leo Augustus, George Delbert, Noel, Arletta, Evelyn Lovisa, Ella May, Sadie Ray, Roseanna Ina, Fern and Ruth.
