Herbert Curtis was born on May 6th, 1912 in Morgan, Orleans, Vermont, USA. Herbert Curtis' father was Herbert Isaac Ovitt and his mother was Bertie Bowen. His maternal grandparents were Mark Edgar Bowen and Abigail Perry. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Horace Edgar, Earl Alden, Madge Gertrude, Mertie May and Mable Irene. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on November 21st, 1985 in Newport, Orleans, Vermont, USA. He was buried in Island Pond, Essex, Vermont, USA.-
