Laura (Lana) Marion was born on November 23rd, 1867 in Marengo, Illinois. Laura (Lana) Marion's father was Carlos Olcott and her mother was Malvina Amanda Kimball. Her maternal grandparents were Levi Kimball and Hettie (Esther) Chatfield. She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Emerson, Emerson Leibus, Charles Levi, Frank Sidelbert, Florence H., Lydia Lyone and Rosewell Byron.
