Laban was born on December 8th, 1814 in Wheelock, Caledonia, Vermont.  Laban's father was Abner Morrill and his mother was Mary Carpenter.  His paternal grandparents were Laban Morrill and Sara Ames. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Nathanial Carpenter, John Carpenter, Luther, Horace, Horatio Gates, Joseph Ames, Horace Jefferson, Mary, Sarah G., Mary, Judith and Nancy.  He was the third youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 85 on December 6th, 1900 in Junction, Piute, Utah.  He was buried on December 9th, 1900.

‌Laban and Esther Loraine were married in a religious ceremony on March 17th, 1837 in Geauga, Portage, OH.


Laban's second family with Permelia Handmore Drury

‌Laban and Permelia Handmore were married in a religious ceremony on February 22nd, 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois.


Laban's third family with Lydia Davis

‌Laban and Lydia were married in a religious ceremony on October 17th, 1854 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.  They had eight sons and four daughters, named Calvin, Edgar, Alexander, Edward Davis, Henry Chancey, Luther Lewellyn, Luther Llewellyn, Jonathan Davis, Emily Frances, Mary, Lydia Ann and Lydia Ann.
