Fanny Fern was born on March 10th, 1858 in Batavia, Genesee, New York. Fanny Fern's father was Loren McIntyre and her mother was Cynthia Cornelia Blaisdell. Her maternal grandfather was Jr. Blaisdell Sargent and her maternal grandmother is Lydia Colburn. She had a brother and three sisters, named Byron Floyd, Mary E., Clara May and Martha Florence. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 63 on April 11th, 1921 in The St. Jerome's Hospital, Batavia, Genesee, New York.
