Fred was born on May 6th, 1915 in Cornish, ME. Fred's father was Fred J. Martin and his mother was Bertha Sargent. His maternal grandparents are Justin Sargent and Harriet Sargent. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Israel F., William, John Justin, Arthur, Leroy S., Kenneth Donald, Daughter, Blanche and Mildred Agnes. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 68 on April 19th, 1984 in Portland, ME.-
