Isaac Johnson 
Isaac was born on December 15th, 1615 in Ware End, Great Amwell, England. Isaac's father was John Johnson and his mother was Mary Heath. His paternal grandparents were John Johnson and Hannah Throckmartin; his maternal grandparents are William Heath and Agnes Cheney. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 on December 19th, 1675 in Four Corners, Sakonnet River, R. I..General Notes
Isaac came to this country with his father in 1630 and was made a freeman Mar
1635. He was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillary Company in 1645,
and was chosen its Captain in 1667. He was Captain of the Roxbury Company in
the Narragansett Expedition, and was killed at the head of his company in the
famous Fort Narrangansett fight on December 19, 1675 near Four Corners,
Sakonnet River, Rhode Island.
