Gerald George Hillard 
Gerald George was born on December 7th, 1914 in Wood County, Ohio. Gerald George's father was George Daniel Hillard and his mother was Edith May Slaughterbeck. His paternal grandparents were James Selby Hillard and Mary Elizabeth Snyder. He had two brothers and a sister, named Victor Grant, Wayne Selby and Thalma Ruth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 86 on January 3rd, 2001 in Wood County, Ohio.General Notes
Gerald farmed in Portage Township, Wood County, all his life. They are presently retired in a rural home with a pond that they bought in Portage Township. When he was farming he was the yearly, and with the demise of the art, the last, corn husking champion of Wood County.They have five daughters and one son; the son coming last and twenty-five years after their marriage.
