Adelbert Oscar was born on July 9th, 1877 in Williams County, Ohio. Adelbert Oscar's father was Cassius Marcibilus Clay Hillard and his mother was Olive Sabra Lewis. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Hillard and Margaret Ann Bordner. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jolly Washington, Joseph Laru, son, Flora Ellen and Amy Lauvica. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Ila Gladys. He died at the age of 58 on April 19th, 1936 in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, Michagan.
