Her paternal grandparents were Godfrey Sebastin Gugler and Abigail Salinda Perkins. She had a brother and two sisters, named Lamont Godfrey, Ethel Marguriet and Martha Mae. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 91 on October 29th, 1997 in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. She was buried in Reygate, Golden Valley County, Montana.-
