His paternal grandfather was Thomas ap Rhys and his paternal grandmother is Eva ferch Henry; his maternal grandfather was John St. John and his maternal grandmother is Sibyl fench Morgan Jenkyn. He was an only child. He died at the age of 24 on January 4th, 1532 in Tower Hill, London, England.-
