Helen Mays was born on September 23rd, 1901 in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Helen Mays' father was William Charles Woolson Ford and her mother was May Farington. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Calvin Woolson and Alice C. Ford. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles Edmond, William John, Olive Kathleen and Ella Genevive. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 46 on July 16th, 1948 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She was buried in Farrington family plot, Plano Cemetary, Plano, Kendall County, Illinois.General Notes

Helen Ford Wright died July 16,1948 at the Illinois Research Hospital in Chicago, after major surgery. Funeral services were held July 19 at the First Baptist Church of Plano, the Rev. R.E. Simms, officiating. Internment in the Farington family plot, Plano, Ill. Miss Dorothy Erwin sang accompanied by Mr. Simms. Pallbearers were James Aterburn Sr., Helman Herton, John Meiers, Thos Osbron,Dale Robertson, and Geo Scholl. She was baptized in the Baptist Church July 9, 1933.
