Barbara Elizabeth was born in 1898 in Hillsdale County, Michigan. Barbara Elizabeth's father was Noah Seldon Field and her mother is Olive Lawrence. Her paternal grandparents were Elijah Seldon Field and Rhoda Ann Hillard. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, Ferris, Sheldon, Russell J., Alice, Lucy, Alma, Lulah and Eunice. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 66 in 1964.-
