John was born about 1205 in Derbyshire, England. John's father was Henry De Grey and his mother was Isolda-Iseude Bardolf. His paternal grandfather is Richard De Grey; his maternal grandparents are Hugh Bardolf and Isobel Aquillion. He was an only child. He died in March 1265.-
