Thomas I was born on June 17th, 1289 in of Coberley, Gloucestershire, England. Thomas I's father was Giles II De Berkeley. His paternal grandparents were Giles I De Berkely and Johanna Le Engleys. He was an only child. He died at the age of 76 in 1365.General Notes
