Louis II was born in 0800. Louis II's father was I Louis and his mother was Ermengarde De Haspengau. His paternal grandfather was Charlemagne and his paternal grandmother is Fastrada; his maternal grandparents were Ingeramne De Hesbaye and Landrée De Herbauges.
