Rufus Colby 
Rufus was born in 1808 in Portland, Maine. Rufus' father is Abner Colby and his mother is Elizabeth Ford. His paternal grandparents are Ebenezer Colby and Lois Elliott. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Ford, Abner, Ebenezeer, Deidamia, Betsey Eleanor, Susan, Theodosia and Mary A.. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died after 1875 in Minnesota.-
