Stephen was born in 1360 in Heroldstone, Pembroke, , Wales.  Stephen's father was Peter Perrot and his mother is Alice Harold.  His paternal grandparents are John Perrot and Jane Joes; his maternal grandparents are Richard Harold and Richard Harold.  He is an only child.
